Bonded by a deep desire to help people become awesomer through digital health tools, Chris Gueits (LivFly) and Jon Marcel (Gymbo) abandoned athletic superstardom to join forces in a mission to solve massive problems with simple solutions.
Despite access to more resources than ever, people struggle with issues of identity, clarity, and life direction. Rather than be passengers in our own lives, we decided to build simple tools that foster life-long habits to give people renewed power over their decisions and lives.
Falling short of fencing in the Olympics, Jon has since compensated by becoming bedazzled jean-jacket wearing dodgeball champion. When he’s not busy ducking, dipping, and diving, he can be found spouting SAT vocab and cooking like a wannabe Rachel Ray. Oh, did we mention that he also builds internet stuff... with his bare hands!
Literally short, Chris rode a Tupac-ian Me Against the World complex to an Ivy League football title. Ever since a friend accused him of wasting his education, he’s made every effort to avoid a healthy paycheck and attempt to hack life like a wannabe Cuban Tim Ferriss. On this team, he rocks a hustle badge like Tuco: tight, tight, tight.
This talk by Brene Brown changed our lives and inspired our work on Truyu. It's 20 minutes long,
but well worth the time. When you're done, drop us a line and let us know what you think.
